Pepper Announces Run For Mayor

CINCINNATI - Council member David Pepper is the newest mayor wannabe to seeking to fill the shoes of Charles Luken. Pepper, 33, single and still feeling fresh off a car-jacking 3 years ago says that the run for mayor is as much for him as it is for the city of Cincinnati.

"First mayor, then senate and then president", said Pepper. "Think of all the poon-tang I will get as a mayor. Wait, I told you this is off the record. Why are you writing this?"

Pepper also said he hopes that the run for mayor will get him a date with Channel 5's newest anchorwoman, Sandra Ali.

"Mmmmm, I love that Asian ass", said Pepper of the Egyptian born Ali. "As mayor, I will put a mandate on that ass."

The field of possible candidates is beginning to take shape and should soon include all the members of Cincinnati's city council before the end of the month.

	I can understand why the NAACP supports PR, since Charlie Winburn would likely replace Laketa Cole on council in 2009.
	I prefer the current model of electing the same 9 people every two years.
	I'm torn about PR. I would love to rank Sam Malone in dead last on a PR ballot, but I don't know if I could stomach voting for him.
	Does this mean Justin Jeffre and Michael Earl Patton will stop running for Council after they discover they still can't win under PR? Then I'm all for it.
	This system will only encourage more crazy people to run for City Council... and so I support it.
	Call me old-fashioned, but I would prefer it if the candidates with the most votes win.
