'Hugs' Shirts Flood Area Thrift Stores |

CLIFTON - "Keep Hugs", "I Support Hugs", and "I Love Hugs", t-shirts are flooding area thrift stores, many of these shirts mysteriously bearing the UC Bearcats logo.
Why was hugging so popular at UC, but now just a memory? "Our students are still touchy-feely," said UC President Nancy Zimpher, "But they have moved on from hugs. I think they're ready to take it to the next level."
"Hugs are good, but kisses are better," added Zimpher with a wink.
What can students wear now that hugs are no longer fashionable? Well for one, the UC Bookstore is still full of hundreds of unsold "I Support Nancy Zimpher" t-shirts and hats. |
